INTRODUCTION

Sri Sidh Baba Balak Nath holy Temple is situated at Plot No.3 & 4 Sector 29A (opposite main Market) in Chandigarh (U.T). Holy Temple has two buildings, one is holy Temple and another is 5 story Sarai Bhawan. On the temple side, office, main store, Ayurvedic Dispensary is situated in the basement. Satsang Hall is situated on the ground floor along with Babaji’s Dhuna, Shiv Parvati Temple on the front side & main Kitchen on the backside. The holy Temple is situated on the Ist Floor. Historical Background

Sri Sidh Baba Balak Nath Sewa Mandal (Regd.) was established on 24th June, 1971. (Late) Sh. Ram Piara Chhokar was made its Ist President who remained as such for 40 years till July 2012. He along with his team collected donation from door to door & from shop-keepers / businessmen of Chandigarh, Mohali, Kharar, Kurali, Ropar, Morinda etc. etc. & accomplished his dream project in the shape of a renowned holy temple of Sri Sidh Baba Balak Nath & Sarai Bhawan in Chandigarh. Premises i.e. the Temple and Sarai Bhawan is well maintained by the Mandal. Mandal is also running a Ayurvedic Dispensary and a Charitable Laboratory. Ayurvedic Medicines are given free of cost to the patients.
BABA BALAK NATH
Sri Sidh Baba Balak Nath devoted his three births in the service of Lord Shiv Shankar. In the first birth babaji was born in a brahmin family. His name was Jyoti. He left for heavenly abode in his 55th year. In the second birth he was born in Marmundo family. His name was Badri. He was devoted to Lord Shiva since his childhood. He was compelled for marriage but he was of the opinion that to meet the Lord Shiva Brahmcharya is the only way. Babaji choose third birth instead of Mukti offered by Lord Shiva to achieve which he could not achieve in second birth.
